Going Private

Hey Guys,

I've been thinking about my blog and I've decided I need to go ahead and make it a private blog. This is kind of sad but also necessary for a couple reasons. If you want to continue reading my blog, then I will have to have your email address to add you to my "Reader List". Blogger lets you accept 100 readers. Please leave a comment if you want to be added to the list. I don't mind adding people I don't know personally, but I do want to know your intentions for reading my blog are positive. I read LOTS of peoples blogs I don't know personally so trust me I will not think you are a stalker. But if you like reading about our family and my sometimes empassioned opinions then I'm happy to have you. I've really backed off writing about controversial things in part because I don't really have the time or energy to devote to responding to people's comments and it gives me anxiety so if I write things that you disagree with frequently, I'd recommend you don't continue reading b/c I will not be going back and forth with comments once I switch over. Ok, that being said, please leave me a comment if you want to keep reading with your email OR email me at malloryandrews@gmail.com! I will make it private on Sunday, May 2 to give people a few days.

Thanks!

Mallory

Hi Mallory,
Please add me to your reader list. You are about the same age as my daughters and every now and then I pop over to read your blog. I have no idea how I found your blog! Ha. I know that it takes energy to make a stand for your beliefs so I understand. My daughter and husband went to a Cardinals game Monday night and as they came out of the game a stripper mobile came RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM; it is a truck with glass all around with girls dancing on a poll. I had no idea there was such a thing! They have been writing letters, making calls, etc. since then. My daughter has been shocked at the response she is getting (kind of "no big deal" you see worse on tv). So, hang in there and keep up the good work!

Hi Mallory! I'd love to keep reading :) Good for you on your Babycenter post...as a teacher of young children I have seen the negative effects of under-parenting and the positive effects of loving discipline!

As Grandmama Jackson use to say, "If you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all." I think that should apply to blog responses. :)
Mallory, you are honest and write from the heart! Whew, girl, can you imagine if I allowed comments on my blog! Please keep me on. I love praying for your precious family and personally wish you would post a picture of Parks each day. He is a very bright spot in my life. Love, MamaBoo

Add me to your reader list. Although you have taken a hiatus and are weary in returning, I very much enjoy reading your blog. And I know that you are a strongly opinionated person and I like that about you! I have a sound mind and don't need to pull apart everything you say. I love hearing your opinions. It makes me think about things in a different way.I need that in my life. :)

Also, Jason and I want to have kids soon, so I would love to keep hearing your stories and thoughts on things as a mom. I value your experiences and would love to keep hearing about them. They may help me not to feel crazy in the future.

Thanks Mallory/Marta!
